You know, I could very well be the first person to achieve the “Little Rocket Man” achievement for Half Life 2: Episode 2. For the record, I achieved it at 1:16 am on Thursday October 11th

I don’t know how I’d confirm that, but I tell you what. Its made me smile inside, was almost hard to shut the door on him and wish him well

Heres a screenshot to prove it, and I’ve got a demo made to turn into a video for YouTube. I’ve hidden the other achievements because I found them to be like mini spoilers and this is a game you just have to play and not know whats happening. Theres also a series of pictures of him taken at various stages along the game to prove hes come with me. I’ll post them after the games been released here in the UK for anyone whose waiting to buy it on retail

I know what the 100th blog pictures going to be It’ll definatly be tomorrow. I’m going to be very busy tomorrow night ^_^

On another note, the gallerys have been updated already \o/ yay

I discovered a folder full of my old phone backups, so I’ve put them up here. They can be found under the mobile gallery. The shadows gallerys been updated with a couple of pictures I forgot about of a baby getting powerbombed through a table. Jackson pointed out that the baby in a kebab box picture wasn’t there, and I can’t find it Have to go back to Weatherspoons to find it again for here

Okay so I still haven’t done a picture for my other blog post, I’m holding onto this 100th one like aren’t I

I’ve completely rehashed all the gallery system after its been bugging me for ages at how long it took me to sort them all out. So Now all I have to do is just put them in the folder and it’ll automatically update the pages whenever they’re viewed. A nice bit of code I found when digging through the Garry’s Mod site

So yeah, new gallerys. The caricatures one has been deleted and replaced with a mobile phone dump which I’ve wanted to do for a while. Basically I’ll update that with any photos (Within reason) that I take on my phone and stick them all in there. Whenever a gallery gets new content I’ll continue to post about it, but the phone dump one won’t be getting a description of everyone thats going into it, that’d be suicide :E

My major beef with this atm is its not integrated with the actual website, but I’m struggling to do that as its a php file thats just executed. If I embed the php into the actual page on the websites template it doesn’t read it right because the files just executed from within the folder that the pictures are contained in. I’m sure if I actually learned php rather than just the very little I know about basic programming I could change it so it could be directed just using a variable as to the location of the pictures

Woot, I’ve finally put some time aside to write a blog on here. I’ll only do a quick run down of everything though as I’ve just downloaded the beta client for Pirates of the Burning Sea But I can’t play it until Thursday I don’t think, which kinda sucks but I’ll live

I’m back at Gamestation full time, I finished at Ladbrokes last Saturday. Its like I’ve never been away, I still remember everything So these days I’ll be found in there donning my pink glove and my stripy hat My first shift was midnight Tuesday for the Halo 3 launch, that was fairly class. Fairly busy like, was a fair crowd formed outside for it. The actual game itself I still haven’t finished although I’m led to believe I’m not very far off the finish now at all. I’ve played it mostly on co-op with Flat Simon and Brother Simon so its weird going back on it just by myself, might just blitz it all later

I can’t remember if I ever wrote about the TV or not. Oop having just checked I have but I never included some pictures, so I’m just passing them over to the computer as I type:

• Big TV when its tidy
• Big TV when its not
• Big Sims 2 with some random TV going on in the picture in picture

My absess that I thought I might have, I still don’t know, I forgot to go and the pain went away, so I can eat properly these days thankfully. On that note I really need to go get some cooking done, I was meant to be cleaning as well but thats went by the wayside atm. I will eventually get around to it though

On a random note as well, I just typed all of the above without looking down at the keyboard once, even to delete the mistakes I did make and then typing the correction. Were life a 360 game, that would deserve an achievement in itself ^_^

Oo speaking of achievements, Team Fortress 2 beta was released while I was away at Jens. Played a fair bit on that. Portal just went up for preload today too, its only a week till that and Half Life 2: Episode 2 is released via Steam as well. Speaking about Steam, when TF2 beta launched they implemented a new achievement system to go with the Community features as well as a stat tracking feature. Heres a link to my TF2 stats which are updated the more I play it. I’ll add a link to the gaming section when I get around to tidying that up and finishing that half job I left there

You know I thought there was more to update you on, but there isn’t really

I’m gonna pay Bulldog because I’m sick of fighting, so thats another £100 a month going until thats paid off. Kinda buggered me for Christmas but at least once its paid off I’ll feel better about not having it looming over my head like I have done since it started

I’m just installing the POTBS beta client now, I’ll write a little about that at least then. I’ve had to pay for an account on Fileplanet to register for the beta. This is after applying through the official website but I was never chosen. I’m only paying £8 every 3 months for the Fileplanet account, and if I track down all the betas then at least its paying for itself in that I can advise customers at Gamestation about upcoming titles and how they play before most people would be able to tell them. Lets call it research

Been playing Animal Crossing again recently, although I haven’t been on in ages now I finally got to see my first KK Slider Gig

Tidied the flat a bit and made a shoe rack and cow shrine combined, something every place shouldn’t be without

I haven’t made a picture yet, but I will do later on. I want to go put my beta code in POTBS and see if it’ll let me on early, I know it won’t but it’d be nice to try
