The old headers been bugging me for a bit now. It was always a bit annoying how some of the pictures wouldn’t load and you would never see some of the other ones. That plus every time I made a new picture I’d have to go and change the embedded looping Flash file that would add that picture to the loop

So after a random conversation to Miss Jen about the old “Virtual Benny” I decided to start work on a new updated version based on the flat which you can now see at the top of this page. Currently, thats all there is. No moving parts as of yet, I need a day off so I can just sit down and blitz it. So maybe something a bit better in the next week? So expect something before christmas ^_^

Its currently the usual “Its gonna do this! This is gonna come out of there! Theres gonna be tea!” etc. How much of that I’ll actually pull off I’ll be impressed to see

Anyhow, I’ve got work relatively soonish, so I need to get myself ready for that. Can’t really be arsed today but I gots to get my money somehow. Laters ^_^

Oh and thinking about it, I haven’t updated my Pearl post down below. I think as I was misadvertised to I won’t add anything other than a couple of pictures to the gallery later tonight. Theres a thought, I’ll update the gallerys and maybe even the video page And lord forbid I did something on the gaming page

Today I ventured to go see the HMS Bounty, the boat which played the Black Pearl in POTC. Although it says that, and they said that, yet it looks very different than in the movie I gotta say. I have no pictures of me on it but I do have pictures of Pink Bear, Purple Bear’s not very well known significant other

I’ll write more on this tomorrow I thinks ^_^ For now just smile at the picture

I’ve been in my flat 2 month \o/ Still to sort a video out and put it on here, I might just resort to using my mobile and linking it upto this

I’ve got me a new mobile, a Samsung D900i (The i makes it all the better apparently) so I’ve changed my contract to something far more reasonable, only problem is I totally forgot I would have to change number :E I’m devestated, proper struggling to remember this number like, and I’m now on Vodafone. I’m sorry o2, I’ll be back one day. When you offer unlimited texts, you cheap bastards

Simons been and returned from Turkey for a wedding, he was a dashing best man apparently. Theres gonna be videos of him floating about on YouTube shaking his “thang” so I’ll link up when I hear of them

Miss Jen’s been and gone too. Ventured as far away as the Metro Centre this time bought myself a new jacket. A duster jacket at that (At least I think thats what they call them) Its very gothy, gonna take some getting used to like. Oh and some Animal Crossing phone thingys. Big in Japan, except I have no aerial to hang mine off so I’ve got mine on my wallet. I have the head of Mabel from the clothing shop ( She didn’t come with a body) and I have Brewster (According to Maria, I can’t remember his name myself) hes the bartender. I used to go for a coffee in the morning with him and Pelly, shes the nice post office lady

I’ve began playing Counterstrike once more Been a while since I played regularly like, feels weird going back to it all now

The Steam Community was finally launched \o/ well its beta. But its pretty cool, even if nobody else on my friends list actually knows about it yet. I was up at 730 for some reason this morning and decided to check if it was out and lo and behold it was. So now you can perve on what games I’m playing on over here.To be honest, I think I’m more impressed with the fact that due to me waking up early, I could reserve my SteamID page without having to stick various numbers or random words onto my name or resorting to retrojaffa. Feels like I’m a pioneer :’)

It adds a fairly swish interface to all your current Steam games that allows you to have conversations going on in the background and so forth, and as a nice little extra, Steam now lets you add shortcuts to any game you currently own and adds this “Friends overlay”to them as well. Although it does seem to have beef with widescreen resolutions atm. Speaking of which, when did 16:9 become 16:10?

I haven’t really touched on Steam on here before. Not too sure why, then again I suppose I’ve got so used to it I don’t think twice now

Steam is a “direct-to-drive” gaming service/client. You can purchase certain games over it and you use Steam to play them. It takes care of patching games and making sure everything is upto date so that you don’t have to arse around trying to get the same version number as your mates to just go play a game. Something that didn’t really hit home until the farce that is multiplayer STALKER comes into play. Now its adopted this, almost MySpace esque Community which I can only see further improving it. Essentially now its becoming an alternative to Microsoft’s Live service for the XBox with talk of achievements in the upcoming Left4Dead (Something else I’ve never talked about, can’t wait for that one) and viewing recent players and what not

Oh and the games are cheaper on this than they are in shops. Its all based on US$ but if you use PayPal it doesn’t affect anything. Yay to no VAT ^_^

Other than that, there isn’t much going on in my life really atm. My rooms a mess once more, my 360 has died a death once more, my deoderant has changed its design on the cannister. In fact can you call it a cannister? Meh, I don’t really care that much tbh
