Oh yeah, btw…
I’m heading to America on Saturday. Heading to Stansted tomorrow to get into a hotel for the night then setting sail in the air at around about 11 in the mornings so I’m led to believe
Frankly, the reason I haven’t mentioned anything is because I’m just not looking forward to it. A combination of working too much and the company on the holiday is just kinda sapping me
At least I finally got packed. Which essentially means theres a suitcase on the bed with my clothes in and some cables poking out for the camcorder (Getting its first official outing after the lack of being able to report on BB)
So the trip involves going from Stansted to Philadelphia then onto Orlando. Thats all I know, like really. Perhaps also the other reason I can’t get excited over this trip. Nothings been planned other than a casino boat somewhere, I don’t know what I should be getting excited over
Truth is I’m more excited about playing these new DS games I bought specifically for the flight but have decided I will play tonight…
Cooking Mama. Another bizarre game. A combination of cooking and Warioware, you cook recipes by performing little mini games such as chopping, sauteing (sp?), folding and the actual cooking, which in later dishes resembles some sort of dancemat game: “Stir!…. Medium Heat!… Stir!… Blow!” the sort of thing I get hooked to really
The other game is a bit of nostalgia really, Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, another game with a gay one of them fellas ( : ) Its a good thing I’ve played the game before, else the inclusion of the tyrant on the game cover could only make the game seem a bit more gay than having to rely on them fellas ( : ) to make it seem like a new game. Anyhow its like the old game only it now also utilises the DS features in a seperate game mode
Resident Evil was an awesome game on the Playstation when I first discovered it. My dad rented it for me and my brother and I got to the first zombie FMV scene and scared myself and turned it off in fear. Didn’t play it again for days. Voice acting was terrible but the storytelling was great and it was an addictive story you wanted to find more about
The Gamecube variant made the game graphically amazing, though for some strange reason they decided to change a couple of sections and included some new zombie thing that was bulletproof and wouldn’t die as well as some strange casket suspended from the roof behind a painting that was never there in the original
I’ve yet to actually play this one yet so I will report back a bit more on it when I’ve played it, regardless its made me want to buy all the old Resi games on the gamecube so I’ve got something to play on my now derelict Wii
Oh yeah before I go I’ve created a new mini game on Saints Row to make me play it more again. It basically involves trying to get as many people in the back of my open top car ragdolling before driving into the sea. Provided me with hours of entertainment so far (y)
Oh and one more thing, retrojaffa will be going down for at least a day when I return from America. Theres a new WordPress been released so I’m going to upgrade, the only hassle being I’ve heavily customised it to look as it is now so its more than a simple cut and paste job
Figured I’d have myself some downtime and tidy up the entire folder structure and database at the same time while finally sorting out the spam filters so I don’t get spammed to death anymore (I anticipate over 1000 new emails when I get back from America) that and fixing the comment spam I’ve been getting recently
