Its been a bit hectic recently. I’ve spent the past week on holiday, though going back further than that. I’ve had to move out of Number 20 : o

Atm I’m living in Frizington until Ican get a job in Carlisle, where I’ll be moving into the new Number 20!

So I’ve spent the last week moving all my stuff and now I’m trying to get used to it all. I’m a half hour bus journey from everything now :E and more importantly I’m currently without the internet Thankfully I still have my iphone else I’d be lost without my Facebook or my Google Reader

Other than that things are quite quiet, my pc is a bit lost without the internet to talk to, I’m probably going to miss the next WoW patch (3.2 Colliseum) and I’ve got an arse load of cleaning to do back at the flat

Decided to go see my mam today and help her with some jobs shes got. Thought it’d be a great idea to walk the way (you know, try and get a bit more active again seen as I’m a mess these days)

Anyhow, I didn’t quite factor in that my new shoes hadn’t been broken in. On top of that, my trousers were fresh out of the wash and a little stiff. So ultimatly I arrived here on my last legs, knackered and sweating like a leaky shower :E

But a couple of bacon buttys and a cup of tea later I seem to be recovering well dear readers \o/

Anyhow, I’m using this more as a test of uploading images and iPhone blogging. I’m going to do some more work today on retrojaffa when I return home. Maybe redo the gallerys or something. Anyhow we’ll see :p

Zomg a post!

And not just a post, but a post on a completely un-retrojaffa theme

Meaning only one thing, I’ve updated finally! After discovering I was almost 3 version out of date I thought maybe it was time. Unfortunatly, because my usual theme is so heavily augmented by me and my coding scalpel knife that I’ve got to start from scratch again :/ Never mind, onto bigger things I guess

Edit: Woot, I’ve managed to return the site to its former glory. On top of that I’m updating this post from my iPhone as a test. Next big test is to draw a picture on colours and straight upload it via ftp. I’ll tag it onto here when its done

Edit #2: Right I think I’ll have to leave this as is for now, currently every section is down as I redesign it to be a bit more update friendly. Which means rehosting all movies and rehosting the galleries as well. Maybe even actually write a gaming section finally ( I might just make it a link to a category set and just tag all the posts that are purely gaming related, that’d make my life easier) Oh and I’ll rewrite the about me page before I go to bed as well as maybe scribble that picture I talked about. For the time being I’m happy with having the site updated again and in a working order, even if pretty much all the content is missing :p

EDIT: So this part is on my actual computer as I suddenly discovered Scotland is behind of the rest of the UK in EDGE cover and I accidently tried uploading a 1mb file from my mobile which is madness. I’m attaching the actual picture from my DS now instead rather than the photo. Basically thats me on Carlisle platform looking at my train to Glasgow that at that point I didn’t have tickets for because of a mix up at work. On and thats some shelves I took with me to the hotel but I think they got left there, I’m not quite sure and don’t want to ask in case they get sent back to me :E

Today is a dark day, I had to finally lay to rest that 5kg bag of sugar I bought… well I don’t know when. I’d be tempted to say 6 months ago if not longer. I honestly can’t remember when I last had to buy sugar, which I think is a bad thing but I can’t help but see it as a good on ^o)

What this does mean is sometime later this week I’ll have to buy sugar, and thus a new 5kg bag can enter office for a fresh term \o/

In other news I’ve now broken the smileys on the site after having a fiddle to add a couple more, I’ve inadvertently replaced the sites file (Which is out of date anyhow, I really must update) with an even older version which is causing it to throw up all sorts of shit :/ I didn’t really want to spend my last day of holiday reinstalling the website, so I’m going to put it off… Oh never mind I managed to find a file to replace it with yay ^_^
